Robert D. Sokolove (Bob), a Bucks County native, has worked as a litigator and has provided legal direction to clients throughout the U.S. since 1977. During that period, Bob has represented individuals, corporations, communities and virtually every kind of client imaginable in state and federal courts around the country. His cases have involved $100 million claims against multiple defendants, small personal injury and medical malpractice claims, challenges against school districts, the representation of corporate entities seeking relief from certain regulatory requirements, communities requiring legal advice and land owners seeking assistance in condemnation and inverse condemnation claims.

Bob graduated from the University of New Hampshire School of Law in 1977 and The American University in 1974. Since his practice of law commenced, Bob has tried cases in 38 different states, is admitted to practice law in Pennsylvania, the District of Columbia and Maryland and has been admitted in many other states to handle matters on a case-by-case basis. Bob has also testified before the United States Senate, the U.S. House of Representatives and Legislative Committees in Maryland, New Jersey, New Hampshire and New York. He was appointed on three occasions as an expert to testify before the National Academies of Science and has been a speaker before trade associations, professional groups, conventions and seminars over 100 times. He is a member of multiple civic organizations and works closely with kids in need of support following abuse and whose educational needs are not being met.

But in the end, Bob’s greatest pleasure is simply helping those who are in need of competent legal representation. He believes his gifts and talents in the courtroom and with the law should be utilized for those most deserving of his services.
